Book Summary

Life is a compilation of stories, some tragic, others funny. These stories are sometimes our own experiences but many times they are yarns spun by our family members passed down at gatherings. Troublesome Gap and Other Stories is written in this same vein; some stories are autobiographical, others fanciful, and some tales are yarns heard from years ago but spun on my own loom. In all these stories there is truth, stretched truth and flat- out fabrication. Troublesome Gap and Other Stories hopes to heighten the reader’s awareness of the preciousness of oral tales passed down from generation to generation.
